Calvary Christian School was established in 1979 as a ministry of Calvary Baptist Church and includes Kindergarten through grade twelve. The purpose of the school is to train and educate Christian young people to meet their fullest potential both spiritually and academically (Ephesians 4:11-15, Romans 8:29). Calvary Christian School wishes to work in agreement with parents in fulfilling the Biblical direction given for the education of our children (Proverbs 22:6, Ephesians 6:4b). We desire to see lives changed and molded for the glory of God. (Romans 8:29, Ephesians 6:4, Ephesians 4:11-15).

DOCTRINAL STATEMENT

Calvary Christian School has the same doctrinal statement as Calvary Baptist Church. This statement, in full, may be obtained from the church office. The statement of faith is summarized as follows:

• The verbal, inerrant, and plenary inspiration of the Bible
• The existence of God in three persons :  Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
• The deity, humanity, and virgin birth of Jesus Christ
• The existence of a personal devil
• The existence of a literal Hell for those who die without Christ
• The existence of Heaven for the redeemed
• The creation of man by God in His image
• The sinful nature of men and the need of salvation by grace through faith by the blood of Christ
• The establishment of the local church for the purpose of fellowship, worship, and service
• The ordinance of Baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper
• The pre-millennial return of Christ
