Ron Ellison is the school's Athletic Director.

Coach Ellison is in his fifteenth year at Calvary Christian. He has over twenty years of coaching and athletic directing experience at the high school and collegiate levels.

Calvary Christian School offers varsity sports in girls volleyball, girls basketball, boys basketball, and boys flag football. Calvary is a member of the South Carolina Association of Christian Schools and competes in these sports for conference and state championships. Our teams play in the 1A Piedmont South Conference. We host an invitational basketball tournament at Christmas and also travel to several other tournaments in basketball and volleyball.

We also provide basketball for our elementary age students as we field a boys' eleven-and under team as well as a girls' eleven-and-under team.

Coach Ellison also directs three basketball camps at the school in the month of June. There is a week for the elementary age students, a week for junior high and high school girls, and a week for the junior high and high school boys.

The Calvary Christian School Athletic department stresses the importance of Christian sportsmanship while striving to perform at a competitive level. We endeavor to use athletics as a tool to show forth Christian character before, during, and after ball games.
